My tabbing strategy for The Stranger will be to tab the literary techniques used in the novel. I did this with Their Eyes Were Watching God and thought it was really useful. Each of the five categories will have its own color tab.
Narrative (point of view, reliability)-Red
Plot/Plot Structure (climax and important events)-Blue
Characterization (Such as Meursault describing other characters)-Yellow
Setting (such as place, time and weather)-Green
Language (such as syntax, figurative language) -Purple
Also, I write on the tabs to remind myself why I tabbed it in the first place. This saves a lot of time when I look back on what I tabbed.
